We have seen fizz and we have seen crap. Our sister site says it best when it says we don't fizz, we rule. Where does the whole "fizz" thing come from you may ask? It comes from the primary SEO company in the Local Internet Marketing space. Sadly enough they charge a monthly fee and from all accounts that aren't on their site they don't do a very good job. If you want to rank for "Des Moines, Iowa rock collecting society" you don't need to be paying $400-$2000 a month for SEO services. Instead you just need to learn what a keyword is and how to rank for things. After that do a little work. By The way for a keyword phrase like that it does not take much at all. Instead of $400+ a month how about 1 hour once. It's an obvious choice.
So how do we go about doing our own best local internet marketing? Well a good starting point is to read our series over at our sister site Real Local Internet Marketing there we discuss the basics of local, or geographic internet keyword phrases.
Some other great places to learn about keyword phrases and how to rank are The Keyword Academy and Grizz's site.
